Ian Penders sworn in as Clarkson Town Justice
Ian E. W. Penders was sworn in as Clarkson Town Justice during a ceremony on Wednesday, December 27.
Penders grew up in Adams Basin and is the son of Rhonda and Scott Penders. He graduated from both Brockport Central School District and The College at Brockport before attending Albany Law School. He is a 2013 graduate of Albany Law School and passed the New York State Bar in October 2013.
Nominated by the Republican Committee of the Town of Clarkson, Penders was elected Town Justice in November. At age 29, he is one of the youngest judges in New York State.
Penders is currently employed as a criminal defense attorney by Xavier and Associates in Rochester. He resides in Clarkson.
