Many attend retirement party for beloved Seymour Library coordinator
Over 100 people attended the retirement party for Chris Daily on March 29, with approximately 30 of them being local teenagers that attend or have attended Daily’s programs. Daily has worked for 29 years at the Seymour Library, and in her most recent years, she has been the Young Adult Services Coordinator. She developed Teen programs and oversaw 91 teen volunteers last year. Her teens participated in community service (at the library and in the community), “Book Buddies,” book clubs, writing clubs, teen improv, and multi-media workshop. Daily was presented with proclamations from the Towns of Clarkson and Sweden, the Village of Brockport and Mike Rockow and Mike Zale of the Monroe County Legislature, as well as a plaque from the Library Board of Trustees commemorating her years of service to teen patrons. Daily’s successor is Stephanie Blando. The community wishes both Stephanie and Chris the best of luck.
