New to Riga-Churchville area? Wonder how to connect with civic groups? Looking for varied volunteer opportunities and activities for the young and young at heart? On Thursday, July 19, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Riga Church, 7057 Chili-Riga Center Road (Route 33 at Route 36) there is an opportunity to connect and learn why Riga is a much sought after and friendly place to live.
There will be a variety of community and service organizations with information and guidance on topics such as finding your home, home renovation, learning opportunities, making spiritual connections and much more.
At regular intervals throughout the evening there will be guided tours of the host facility by Riga Town Historian Ronald Belczak. Light refreshments will be served.
If you’re a longtime resident or a new arrival, come connect with groups you may not realize are in your town. Enjoy information, great interaction and a peek at the patchwork of our community. Come and meet your neighbors.
