The Erie Canalway Trail is currently closed for construction activity between Sweden-Walker Road (Route 260) and Fayette Street in the Town of Sweden/Village of Brockport and Marshall Road and Prospect Avenue in the Village of Medina. It is anticipated that these sections of Erie Canalway Trail will reopen the week of December 26.
Closures of the Erie Canalway Trail will occur between Route 19 and Redman Road in the Village of Brockport beginning the week of December 26. The closures are expected to last several weeks.
Trail users are urged to exercise caution even along sections of the Erie Canalway Trail which remain open due to ongoing construction activities in many areas.
The Canal Corporation regrets any inconvenience but considers public safety to be paramount.
