To all Village of Churchville residents,
I will not be seeking re-election as the Mayor of the Village of Churchville in 2019. This was not an easy decision as it is difficult to give up something that I have enjoyed so much. I am honored to have served as your Mayor for the past 12 years. I have strived to keep our community fiscally strong with new projects funded through grants instead of taxpayer dollars. Continuous efforts have provided for many enhancements in our community. My hope is that the next Mayor and board will continue to do the same.
I wanted to inform you because in January it will be time for those seeking election to be asking for your support through signatures on petitions. Hopefully this will give candidates the time to make a decision to seek your support and you an opportunity to interview and evaluate prospective candidates for Mayor and Trustees. Candidates will be going door to door seeking your signature starting on January 2, 2019 and elections will be held on March 19th. The newly elected officials will take office on April 1st of 2019. Until that time, I am still working hard as your Mayor and my door is always open.
It truly is an honor to serve as your Mayor. Thank you for your confidence and support over the years.
