Gates Chili Chamber announces award winners
The Gates Chili Chamber of Commerce has announced its 2019 Annual Community Award winners, honoring individuals and organizations that have made a significant impact on the quality of life in the Gates and Chili communities.
This year’s winners are: Beautification Award (Chili) – Cornerstone Urgent Care Center; Beautification Award (Gates) – Gates Chili Federal Credit Union; Joseph Entress Memorial Award – Taylor Heating & Air Conditioning; Innovative Business Award – Servpro of NW and SW Monroe County; Culture and Arts Award – Chili Lions Club; Outstanding Citizen – Robert Jackson (WestSide Express); Youth Leadership Award – Kynesha Milwood, Maya Blackwell and Zionah Campbell; Dream Big Award – Mammoliti Family (Calabresella’s Deli and Studio Expo Salon and Day Spa); Young Professional Award – Dalton Letta; Loretta Simmons Women’s Leadership Award – Mary Sperr; Special Recognitions – Gates Police Keystone Club 50th Anniversary, Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home 50th Anniversary, Gates to Recovery.
The Awards Gala Dinner will be held on Tuesday, May 21, at the Italian American Community Center, 150 Frank DiMino Way in Gates. Registration and networking begin at 5:30 p.m. with seating for dinner at 6:15 p.m. Tickets are $35 per person.
