Test borings along Lake and Redman Roads in the Town of Sweden, within the new water district, will begin towards the end of August. The borings will be taken every 500 feet within the road right-of-way. The borings are necessary to determine soil type and depth of rock along the route of the new water lines. The project is expected to be bid out late this fall. Residents with questions regarding the water district should call the Supervisor’s office at 637-7588.
