Brockport Central School District tax bills will be mailed to property owners prior to September 1. Town of Sweden Tax Receiver Kathleen Bahr-Seever will collect school taxes September 1 through October 1; payments after that date must be made to Monroe County.
While Bahr-Seever will collect at the Sweden Town Hall, 18 State Street, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, the preferred methods of payment at this time are by mail, by drop box (at the Town Hall front door), or online. Due to COVID-19, the town is still trying to keep occupancy at the Town Hall as low as possible. For those who choose to pay in person, face coverings are required. To facilitate the use of the online payment option, Monroe County has waived the online transaction fee.
