Euchre tournament to benefit The Story of Hope
The Story of Hope Comfort Care Home is holding a Euchre Tournament on Saturday, September 12, starting at 1 p.m. at Bill Gray’s Tap Room, 1177 North Greece Road.
Due to Covid-19, The Story of Hope’s usual fundraisers have been put on hold. The euchre tournament will be played in a sanitized and safe environment with social distancing and face coverings.
The tournament entry fee is $15 per person. Fifteen percent of all food and beverage purchases at Bill Gray’s will be donated back to The Story of Hope. There will be 50/50 tickets, raffles, giveaways, beer tastings, and more. The Young Lion Brewery and Wright Wisner are sponsoring this event.
The Story of Hope Comfort Care Home is a hospice which will be built later this year at 813 Marshall Road in Chili. The journey to build this home began in 2014 with an idea by Board Chairperson, Arlene Nanry. The Story of Hope will provide end-of-life care with the goal of providing peace, comfort, and dignity to people who are dying. Medical, psychological, and spiritual support will be provided for the patient and their family.
