The Hilton Apple Fest held a drive-up chicken barbecue by Sticky Lips Pit BBQ on Saturday, October 3, which would have been Apple Fest weekend if not for the pandemic. The event was a great success because of the community’s support. The winning raffle ticket for a 55-inch LG Smart TV was also drawn on that day by Mayor Joe Lee. The winner was Abby Leone, a student in the Hilton Central School District and a resident of Hilton. She was excited to win and kept saying, “Thank you, thank you, thank you.” Proceeds from the ticket sales will be awarded as scholarships to three students in Hilton’s Class of 2021.
