The Town of Sweden has begun the installation of sidewalks on the east side of Owens Road. The installation starts at the intersection of Route 31 and runs northward to the Brockport Village line at the South Avenue extension.
As the town began construction in October, it was still awaiting a permit from the DEC to work at the northern end in an area that abuts a wetland. The town hopes to have the permit in time to complete the sidewalk installation this season.
