As with many organizations, the Brockport Kiwanis Club has been prevented from conducting many of its fundraising and charitable events due to restrictions caused by COVID-19. As a result, the club has reached out to connect with other groups in the community who work with and support children. The group recently presented a cash donation to the Women, Infants and Children (WIC) organization (https://www.fns.usda.gov/wic), which assists with the nutritional and care needs of young children and their families. This WIC office is affiliated with Oak Orchard Health, and is located adjacent to the Oak Orchard office in Batavia.
