On Sunday, March 28, several ladies from On Sunday, March 28, several ladies from Ferris-Goodridge American Legion Auxiliary #330 spent time filling 57 purses with personal care items, medical supplies, and socks. Once filled, these purses were taken to St. Charles Church and given to Deacon Dan for distribution to House of Mercy and Mary’s House. Several bags of men’s articles were also collected and will be distributed where needed. This event is held twice a year thanks to the Legion family and members of the community who contribute to its success.
