Ferris-Goodridge Legion Post #330 held its first blood drive of the year on March 3. At that drive, 38 units of blood were collected thanks to Legion members and community residents. Donations from that drive went to the following locations throughout the state: Albany Medical Center Hospital, URMC Strong Memorial Hospital, Unity Hospital, Saratoga Hospital in Saratoga Springs, and Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel. The Legion is holding its next blood drive on Wednesday, June 30, at the Post Home on Trimmer Road in Spencerport. Visit redcrossblood.org to schedule an appointment.
