Thank you for your recent story about Vanessa the dog. I am appalled that after the Monroe County Court ruled that Vanessa should be released, that she is still being confined by the Town of Ogden Court officials! After a
nearly 3 hour Court hearing on Monday, May 3rd where many of us came out in support of Vanessa and her owner, Jeremy, the Court for some completely inexplicable reason decided to schedule yet ANOTHER court hearing for Wed May 12th! Meanwhile, Vanessa languishes in confinement with no visits allowed from her owner while the Town of Ogden Court continued to debate over a decision that has already been made by the Monroe County Court to release Vanessa! How is this even legal? What exactly is going on here? Vanessa needs to be released IMMEDIATELY as mandated by the Monroe County Court and these ridiculous and lengthy Court hearings need to be ended! #JusticeForVanessa
