The facts of this case are clear. The complainant could not identify which dog “bit” her. Why was Vanessa the instant target? Because she is a pit. Another fact is the relationship between the judge and the complainants. It is a clear conflict of interest. That judge should have recused himself and the case should have been moved to another jurisdiction.If people are allowed a second chance on parole, why is Vanessa not being given an opportunity for a new life with someone who can give her what she deserves? People who are afraid of dogs are entitled to that fear but to label Vanessa as dangerous and order her euthanized when it is not clear she is the one who cause the injury is just mind blowing. This complainant, judge and lawyer need to put their egos aside, realize this is enough and move on! I don’t know how they sleep at night. Animals laws have to change….now!
