It is obvious that Vanessa is a well behaved and safe to be around dog that was known in the shelter and adopted by a shelter volunteer/worker. Vanessa was a family member. Right to visit should be allowed.
This family should now get their dog back. And no court effort and time should be spent in these obvious cases.
