I’ve been following, supporting and praying we finally receive relief and justice for Vanessa.
I realized even more tonight how unethical – on all levels this has been.
In any court it should always be innocent until proven guilty. This has NOT happened. I believe she was already given her sentence the minute the incident happened. Breed Bias. Those involved in any way – politically or connected too in any way – should have excused themselves if involved with partaking parties. I know we would all like to believe we could be impartial but honestly – I call bull.
This was not done and now, so many mixed emotions later regarding what happened from the plaintiffs side that they really do think they are doing the right thing for some reason.
They can’t concede because that would mean defeat – and no one loses. EGO. Vanessa loses. Jeremy loses. Put the EGO aside and do the RIGHT thing.
If people are supporting this that are not even involved, just stepping in and taking notice because they feel an injustice – PLEASE take a step back and think about why other people are opposed. Justice Murante your job is to get to the bottom of the issue and resolve it.
As for Vanessa – they are turning her into what they have her accused of being. An animal of that type is made to be aggressive living the way she has been forced to live. This is one way dogs are trained for dog fighting – isolation.
I hope this is being addressed. Absolutely this girl will need to be slowly released back into society. In essence they have forcibly trained Vanessa as a fighting dog. She too has been fighting for her life and she’s probably so scared. Anyone not getting love and essentially being buried alive for the last year would claw its way out of cage if they lived long enough too. By this point, I too would be aggressive.
Her life no matter what has been cut short because of ONE incident that has NOT been proven.
She needs to be returned home where Jeremy can properly love her for the remainder of her life. I love that Jeremy would put her in a sanctuary. It’s unfortunate it even needs to come to that. The system has made a mistake and they need to fix it. This is cruel and unusual punishment for something that has never been proven.
My last thought – What is it that makes the judge #judgedavidmurante Justice David Murante think the dog is aggressive or dangerous? Since the attack has – Justice For Vanessa – Vanessa become more aggressive? Has he had reports from the isolating not medically treated animal “shelter” she has been housed that she has been vicious? What evidence does he have that allows him to be so cruel?

The continue fight/plight of Vanessa has been such an amazing journey of advocacy of those that cannot fight for themselves. Our children have turned into fur babies, seems there are more animal parents of late 🙂
