The Riga Recreation Department is offering the following programs during May and June:
•Golden Beats at Riga Town Hall Multipurpose Room on Mondays, May 10, 17, and 24, from 10 to 11 a.m.
•May Cornhole Tournament at Churchville Park Tennis/Pickleball Courts on Thursday, May 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
•Major League Baseball’s “Pitch-Hit & Run” Contest at Field #1, Sanford Road Park, on Saturday, May 15,from 9 to 11 a.m. Pre-register at www.mlb.com/pitch-hit-and-run.
•NYS Safe Boating Course is being offered on Saturday, June 5, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Riga Town Hall Multipurpose Room.
•June Cornhole Tournament at Churchville Park Tennis/Pickleball Courts on Thursday, June 17, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
•Riga Recreation “Summer Camp” at Churchville Elementary School starts Monday, June 28. Details will follow once Monroe County and New York State provide further guidelines.
•Open Pickleball at the Town of Riga Pickleball Complex at McNeely Park is available daily from sunrise to sunset.
