I think many of Vanessa’s supporters aren’t just supporting Vanessa. They are considering the FOIL Data, an average of a court-ordered euthanasia a year is concerning, that is the critical/analytical piece of it.
The human/ emotional side of it is there is an opportunity to offer grace. Keeping in mind that IF Vanessa did bite the victim certainly isn’t wasn’t personal on Vanessa’s part ( because she’s a dog!). That doesn’t mean people don’t have compassion for both sides of the story believing that there is opportunities to practice kindness and offer second chances does not necessarily mean your brain washed.
