Vanessa was taken from her family, accused of something of which no real proof or evidence has ever been provided. She was held in a cage for 10 months without human contact, exercise or her medications which she required for underlying health conditions. This was abusive under every definition of the term. If an ordinary citizen were to mistreat an animal like this, they would be charged! The town officials should be charged with animal cruelty. They are not above the law! Also, the Judge who presided over this case should be charged as well. He let personal relationships and feelings interfere in this case and Vanessa suffered because of it.
I am glad Vanessa will be going to Against All Oddz, however I truly believe that the best rehab for her would be to return home to her living family
