Vanessa the dog
I’m in Indiana and came across Vanessa’s story a while back on social media. I am appalled by the way this case has been handled. Not being able to ID the dog that bit? How does that happen? Were details ever released as to what lead up to the incident and the bite itself? Did she startle the dog that bit her? Was the dog protecting something? The husband is a persons injury attorney and friends with the judge but the judge did recuse himself? How is that fair and impartial? The dog is kept in solitary confinement for over 10 months with no concerns for the poor dog? Not allowing the family to see her nor the lawyer? Was a behaviorist sought out to assess her temperament? Or is she being judged because of her appearance? Because she looks like a pitbull type dog and a rescue? The owner said he would secure his yard with 2 fences to insure Vanessa would be contained. Were there any previous incidents, bites?? This all so heartbreaking for a family and their beloved pet. These people should be ashamed of their selves by handling this case in such an unprofessional manner. Praying justice will prevail and she is returned home with her humans🙏🙏🙏
