The Knights of Columbus Spencerport council honored Father Richard Brickler as he celebrated 60 years as a Priest of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Rochester. Father Brickler has served as the council chaplain for the last 26 years. He is also the former pastor of St. Boniface Church on Gregory Street in Rochester, where he served as pastor for 28 years. Father Brickler has reached senior priest status but is still very active in ministry in the dioceses. The Knights had a prayer service led by Father and then presented him with an honorarium and a cake to thank him for his lifelong service to the church, the Knights, and the community on his anniversary.
