The First Presbyterian Church of Chili, 3600 Chili Avenue, will hold a Grand Opening of its new food cupboard on Saturday, June 19, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. The food cupboard reaches out to families in the community who are in need of a supplementary source of food to help them provide nutritious meals. Food for the cupboard is procured through donations and purchases.
The church’s food cupboard will be open the third Saturday of every month from 10 to 11:30 a.m. for grocery pick-up. Those who decide to take advantage of this service will be registered so the food cupboard can be better prepared to provide for their family’s food needs.
