CCE-Monroe hosting Annual Plant Sale
The Master Gardeners of Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County (CCE-Monroe) are holding their Annual Plant Sale on Saturday, June 26, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the side yard of their office, located at 2449 St. Paul Boulevard, Rochester. Free parking is available in the lot behind the office.
A wide variety of plants will be for sale, including house plants, tree seedlings, shrubs, perennials, herbs, and annuals. All plants will be tagged with the plant name. A number of Master Gardeners will be available to answer questions about mature plant size, site considerations, or other concerns. Cash, check, and most major credit cards are accepted.
In addition to the Plant Sale, the Ask A Master Gardener booth will be set up where Master Gardeners can answer questions attendees might have, such as growing plants, caring for lawns, feeding pollinators with native plants, pruning shrubs, and more.
CCE-Monroe staff will also be on-site to provides information on their programming, including natural resources, agriculture, 4-H youth activities and nutrition.
All are invited to come and browse the available plants, ask a question or two, and learn a bit about CCE-Monroe.
