The Rochester Oratorio Society will hold live auditions for its upcoming season, with live rehearsals beginning in September of 2021. After cancelling the end of the 2019-2020 season and holding only virtual events for 2020-2021, the organization’s leaders are looking forward to a new season of live choral music.
Auditions will be held on Tuesday, August 24, Tuesday, September 7, and Wednesday, September 8, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. by appointment only at Asbury First United Methodist Church. Virtual audition options are also available. For information, visit https://rossings.org/join.
In addition, the organization will hold virtual office hours sessions which will include a season preview and vocal exercises with artistic director Eric Townell and special guest Luanne Crosby. These sessions will be held on Tuesday, July 13, and Tuesday, August 3, at 7 p.m. and are free of charge. Registration is required.
