St. Luke’s annual Book Sale returns
St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 14 State Street, Brockport, will hold its annual Book Sale in conjunction with the village merchants’ Sidewalk Sale, July 8, 9, and 10. “Our Book Sale is always a success, but this year I believe it will be especially true as our communities begin to reopen and return to normal after more than a year of COVID,” said Ricki DeBaun, Book Sale team leader.
This year’s sale hours are Thursday and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon. The Bag Sale, in which you can stuff as many books in a bag as possible for one price, is Saturday at 11 a.m.
St. Luke’s commitment to the sale shows in the careful sorting and organizing of thousands of books to make for easy browsing. Visitors to the sale always express their appreciation for the well-organized event and note that books are displayed by genre and author, making it easier to find just the books they are looking for. Also available are books for teens and children, as well as puzzles, CDs, and DVDs.
St. Luke’s accepts books throughout the year. Drop off donations at the church office between 10 a.m. and noon, Monday through Thursday. For more information, contact St. Luke’s at 637-6650 or via email at stlukes@frontiernet.net. Visit St. Luke’s at www.stlukesbrockport.org.
