Friends of the Parma Public Library are sponsoring a basket raffle with all proceeds from the sale of tickets going to support programs at the library. Basket themes include “Summer Fun” (a pool float, beach towel, toucan serving dishes, a summer read, and more), “I’m Bored” (a bird house kit, two slime kits, light sticks, and more), and “Ice Cream Social” ($60 in ice cream gift cards, an ice cream science kit and cookbooks, makings for ice cream treats, and more).
Tickets are available at Mainly Books, 24 Main Street, Hilton, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., or at the Parma Public Library. The drawings and announcement of winners will be August 14. Winners will be notified by phone.
