The Town of Greece will be publishing a local cookbook in celebration of its 200th anniversary. This Bicentennial Cookbook will feature community recipes, and the town is looking to residents to find the best mix of recipes to include. Dig up that favorite family recipe, either new or passed down for generations, and send it in for possible inclusion in the Bicentennial Cookbook.
When submitting recipes, include the category (appetizer, entrée, dessert, etc.), a photo, the ingredients, and the directions. Additionally, there will be a special section dedicated to local establishments throughout the town – Emergency Responders, School District Favorites, Local Restaurants, etc. If a recipe fits into one of these special categories, be certain to note that on the submission.
Recipe submissions will be accepted through October 15, 2021. One must own the rights to any photographs submitted, and recipes need to be their own or a modification of a previously published recipe (something that has been customized).
Recipes must be submitted digitally at greeceny.gov/cookbook with the form completed in its entirety to be considered for inclusion in the Bicentennial Cookbook.
