Chili Presbyterian Work Camp
In early August, youth and adults from the First Presbyterian Church of Chili spent time at a Work Camp at Camp Whitman on Seneca Lake. The group of five adults, four youth, and two little ones, set out on an adventure, working hard, worshipping, playing, and praying together. They cut approximately three face cords of firewood, built two porches, and repaired four more. Daily devotions followed the theme God Loves First – how diverse our world is and how we need to love first no matter what. Their time there included lots of fun as well – swimming, boating, kayaking, fishing, an ice cream run, and ping pong. Ashleigh Naugle and Nicole Mathewson are shown wielding power tools.
