Union Congregational Church, 14 North Main Street, Churchville, invites the community to its Pet Blessing service at 10 a.m. on Sunday, September 19. It will be the church’s last outdoor service this year.
All are invited to bring their pets to be blessed individually by a prayer from Pastor Brad. Children are also invited to bring a special stuffed animal, which they would like to have blessed.
The service will also offer an opportunity to meet Pinot, a Pet Therapy dog. Pinot will be blessed before starting her new ministry to shut-ins of Union Church and others who may need comfort and warmth. She will bring smiles and joy to those who cannot attend indoor worship services.
