Monroe County Legislator Jackie Smith (right) presented the Monroe County Youth Award to Hamlin resident Alison Cring (center). Hamlin Recreation Director Anke Applebaum (left) nominated Alison and was able to read the letter she submitted to the county at the Hamlin Town Board meeting on September 13. An exemplary citizen, Alison volunteers for many events and organizations, is very professional, and a great role model for others to look up to.
