The Village of Hilton held a recycling event for the community on Saturday, September 18, at the Hilton Department of Public Works facility. With the cooperation of the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Sunnking, and Certified Document Destruction & Recycling, the public brought their unwanted electronics, pharmaceuticals, and personal documents for safe disposal while remaining environmentally conscious. Donations were also accepted for the Hilton Food Shelf. Another event will be held in the spring.
