Brockport Rotary social meeting becomes a working meeting

When members of the Brockport Rotary gather for a social event, they inevitably talk Rotary. At their November 11 meeting at Bill Gray’s Taproom, the members enjoyed each other’s company and discussed the December 12 production of A Christmas Carol sponsored by the Spencerport Rotary at the First Congregational Church, 65 Church Street Spencerport. Tickets are $15 in advance ($20 at the door), and are available at Your CBD Store, 409 South Union Street, Spencerport; The Unique Shop, 130 South Union Street, Spencerport; Country Treasures, 61 Main Street, Brockport; as well as from any member of both Rotary clubs.
Ongoing discussions included the a possible chicken barbecue and other ways to raise funds to support local activities such as the Seymour Library, Rotary Reads in the Park, Homesteads for Hope, and other community-oriented projects.
