Town of Greece Free COVID-19 Test Kit Distribution

The Town of Greece will be hosting a free COVID-19 rapid test kit distribution event for Greece Residents. On Monday, December 13 and Tuesday, December 14 from Noon until 4:00 PM (or until supplies are exhausted), Greece residents can head to Greece Town Hall and plan on entering through the “Meeting Room” entrance to pick up their test kit. One test kit (which contains two tests in total) will be available per household (there will be no exceptions) and proof of residency will be required. Residents will need to bring either a valid driver’s license ora current utility bill to prove residency.

“We are happy to partner with the County on this distribution” said Supervisor Reilich.“We join towns throughout the county in disseminating these kits to our residents ahead of the holiday season when some may choose to test before attending gatherings or to attend functions where they have been required” Reilich concluded.

These test kits are being made available through the Monroe County test kit distribution program. The Town of Greece received just over 23,000 kits and we will distribute the kits on a first come, first-serve basis until the supply is exhausted. Instructions for usage is contained in each kit and should be specifically followed. If you have specific testing questions or need testing assistance, please contact Monroe County at (585) 753-5555 or visit monroecounty.gov.

Because Greece Town Hall will be open on each of these two days, we ask that residents be respectful and realize that our employees will do the best they can to issue the test kits as quickly as possible. It will be most helpful if you are prepared with your proof of residence so we can get everyone through the line as soon as possible.
