Hilton Apple Fest holds annual meeting
The Hilton Apple Fest held its Annual Meeting on December 6 and voted to hold the Apple Fest on October 1 and 2, 2022. The 2022 Board Members are Deborah Buckhout, Sean Glenney, Jeff Hand, Joe Lee, Brent Ligus, Jane Mitchel, Alyssa Pino, Gayle Pyke, Maureen Spindler, Jane Twichell, Matt Ulakovic, Linda Viney, Kristine Watson, and Timmy Webster.
Those who served as 2021 Board Members who are not continuing in that capacity in 2022 are Destiny and James Fowler, Wayne Howard, Traci Schimmel, and Shannon Zabelny. Traci and Shannon will remain involved with the festival, participating in many capacities and on several committees.

Apple Fest announces winner of TV Raffle
Alice Sisson won a 55” TCL Smart TV raffled by the Hilton Apple Fest Committee. Alice said, “I come to the Apple Fest all the time. I recently worked with the Apple Fest Committee on their Chicken BBQ and really had a good time.” She wants to volunteer more time to the Apple Fest in the future.
The Apple Fest Committee will award proceeds from the TV Raffle to a Hilton High School senior in the form of a scholarship to help further their education. The scholarship winner will be announced in the spring of 2022.
