GCC’s 41st Annual Fashion Show, “Regeneration”
Genesee Community College Fashion Program students continue their year-long preparations for the 41st Annual Fashion Show that is scheduled for Saturday, April 30, from 6 to 9 p.m. “Regeneration” will take place in the 24,000 square foot indoor field house of the Richard C. Call Arena on the west side of the Batavia Campus. With plenty of space to accommodate 2,000 guests including ample parking, the students are planning a dynamic, fast-moving production, and a post-show party with entertainment and a vendor fair.
Tickets are now available for purchase online at gccfashionshow.com. General admission tickets are free of charge and include admission to the Fashion Show, vendor fair, entertainment, and the post-show reception. Special VIP tickets are also available for $25 providing preferential seating and a special GCC Fashion Show SWAG bag.
This year’s theme “Regeneration” was chosen by the students of the Fashion Program. “Regeneration” is all about new beginnings with an emphasis on environmental issues and sustainability. After being forced to move to an online format the past two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s fashion show will be a welcome return to the runway at GCC’s Batavia Campus.
As it has in the past, the Fashion Show will include a vendor fair giving local businesses a chance to showcase their products and services. There are still a few tables available for additional vendors. Interested businesses should email fashionshow@genesee.edu. Tables are $25.
