The Coast Guard has received an application from the New York State Canal Corporation requesting approval of the location and plans for construction of the Brockport Loop Pedestrian Bridge across Mile 279.81 on the Erie Canal immediately west of the Brockport Guard Gate, Guard Gate 12, in Brockport, Monroe County, New York. A Public Notice providing details on the project and explaining how to provide comments is available at https://www.navcen.uscg.gov/D9BN. Members of the public may express their views, in writing, on the proposed bridge including its possible impacts to the environment and navigation.
