Things that Go! – planes, bicycles and automobiles – are the subjects of the August 10 Rotary Reads in the Park. It is held from 7 to 8 p.m. in Brockport’s Harvester Park, by the Welcome Center. The Brockport Rotary will supply construction paper for airplane crafting and tag board for making bicycles and cars. Children are encouraged to bring their favorite toy that goes zoom. Some of the books for that evening are: Officer Buckle and Gloria by Peggy Rathman, My Bike and My Car by Byron Barton, and Flying by Donald Crews. This is the last reading of the season until summer 2023.
Sergeant Hagen of the Brockport Police Department will be the guest reader. Any donations collected will help support the Brockport Stetson Club for police officers.
