The Friends of Hamlin Beach State Park (FOHBSP) is an organization that has fun while helping to support Hamlin Beach State Park. Friends help in many ways, including educational and recreational programs, work days, and helping promote the park. As a group they enjoy doing several things in the park, including building and maintaining gardens, trail maintenance, monitoring bird populations, making craft kits for campers, supporting programs put on by the park, volunteering at the museum and helping guide projects for “I Love my Park Day.”
All are welcome to see what the FOHBSP is all about by attending the group’s September meeting on Wednesday, September 14, 6:30 p.m., at Shelter 5 in Area 4.
