It was my pleasure to recognize Zachery Kelly, Jacob McNees, Harley Ladue and Nathan Bushnell at the Monroe County Youth Awards on Thursday, April 27.
This outstanding achievement is awarded to the exceptional youth of Monroe County who display values that reflect a commitment to volunteering and community service.
Their demonstration of their commitment to our community included Zachery’s mapping of veterans’ gravesites in the Clarkson Cemetery, Jacob’s repair and improvements to the gazebo located in the courtyard at the Barclay School, Harley’s leadership at the Sweden Clarkson Recreation Center, and Nathan’s building of park benches.
They are role models for our entire community and are very worthy recipients of this high honor.
