Explore Ogden history at the Colby Pulver House

The history of Ogden will be on display almost every Sunday in June, July and August. Stop by the Ogden Historical Society’s Colby Pulver House, 568 Colby Street, Spencerport, between 2 and 4 p.m. to go back in time to 1811, the year the house was built. Many fascinating items from a bygone era are on display, including the Tiffany style lamp pictured here. Stroll the grounds and take in the historic Daylily Garden. Bring a bag lunch and enjoy the beauty of the colorful flowers. On the grounds you will also find the restored lift bridge tower from Spencerport. After your visit, consider joining the Ogden Historical Society. Volunteers are needed to help preserve the history of Ogden. For information, call 490-4751 or go to http://www.ogdenhistoricalsociety.org. See the contact page on the website to email OHS.
