Free mini concert at the Spencerport Gazebo with The Needhams
Southern Gospel New York welcomes back to Spencerport the 2017 Southern Gospel Artist of the Year – The Needhams – on Saturday, May 27.
The Needhams will perform a free mini concert at the Spencerport Gazebo at noon. Attendees can receive a $5 coupon off the full concert that will be held at the auditorium of Spencerport Bible Church, 1948 North Union Street, Spencerport. A $15 donation will be received at the door to help cover the expenses of their ministry.
The Needhams are a family that were born in Batavia, went to school in Leroy/Pavilion and later moved to Nashville where they presently live. It is there that they write and record their music.
The Needhams consist of Dad, David Needham Sr.; son, Dave; daughter, Diane; and Diane’s husband, Steve.
Diane studied at Roberts Wesleyan University where she met Steve. After they married, they moved to Pennsylvania and started a family.
Diane and her brother, Dave, write most of the group’s songs. The sound of all the instruments complements the beautiful voices and harmonies.
