The Kiwanis Club of Brockport held its annual Read Around the World event at the Seymour Library on Saturday, May 20. Despite the rain, there was good attendance and the kids and families had a great time. Guest readers this year were Chief Mark Cuzzupoli of the Brockport Police Department, Brockport School Superintendent Sean Bruno, and Club member Brigitte Duschen. All of the readers emphasized to the children the importance of reading and learning, as well as the importance of community and friendship. The Kiwanis Club is grateful to the staff of the Seymour Library for their planning, support and preparation, and to the Brockport Police Department for their support and participation.
