As a member of Ferris-Goodridge Auxiliary Unit #330, Christina Falbo was presented the Above and Beyond recognition award from Auxiliary President Debbie Carey on Tuesday, May 23. As the liaison between the Auxiliary unit and Spencerport High School, Christina not only gets involved but she also gets her students involved with community service projects. Christina is a member of the Executive Board, volunteers her time for fundraisers, legion events and dinners, and even donates blood at the blood drives hosted at the Legion.
Christina teaches Special Education U.S. History and Government and resource classes at Spencerport High School. She also teaches Foundations of Special Education at Roberts Wesleyan University. Beyond her teaching and volunteering at the Legion post, she also announces girls soccer and lacrosse games and proctors basketball and wrestling.
