Spirits shared their stories during annual Ghost Walk in Spencerport
This year’s Spirits of Spencerport Ghost Walk was held on Friday, October 13, and Saturday, October 14, with sold out performances both evenings. The weather was cool and clear for the community to walk around the village and hear historical and spooky tales. The efforts of many contributed to make the event a success – greeters, guides, actors, Studio 19 Dance Company dancers, Russ Young and his hearse on Friday evening, TJ Sercu bringing his fire truck both evenings, servers, the Ogden Special Police, and Joel Humphrey for coming up with many of the Ghost Walk stories. Spencerport Depot and Trolley Museum, Hunt Real Estate ERA, The First Congregational Church, and Union Street Coffee House also lent their support to the event. Refreshments were donated by Brockport Wegmans and Spencerport Tops. The Spirits of Spencerport Ghost Walk is held annually as a fundraiser for the Ogden Historical Society.
