Churchville Halloween Parade takes to the streets

Many, many thanks to the following organizations for making the Riga Recreation/Churchville Lions Halloween Parade a tremendous success! Kudos to: The Town of Riga, Village of Churchville, the Churchville Lions and LEO clubs, the Churchville Fire Department and Fire Police, Union Congregational Church, and the ghoulish parents, grandparents and, of course, all the spooky characters! They paraded the streets of Churchville led by the fire trucks and the Fairy Godmother (Lion Verna Linney) down to the Churchville Village Gazebo where they received “Goodie Bags.” Some of these scary youngsters received gift certificates purchased from local eating establishments! A wonderful event was enjoyed by the over 250 in attendance.
