Deadline looms for NYS DMV vision tests

Many New Yorkers may be unable to renew their driver’s license because of an expired vision test. Due to COVID, many DMV tests were postponed, but these test requirements were not canceled.
The DMV’s website notes that those impacted are those whose license expired between March 1, 2020, and August 31, 2021. If a vision test is not submitted to the DMV by December 1, 2023, the driver’s license will be suspended.

Visit the DMV’s website and engage in the system’s online chat services to see if you are impacted.
Tops Friendly Markets reminds drivers that its pharmacies are authorized administrators of the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles’ Vision test.
