On Thursday, December 7, the members of the Spencerport Volunteer Firemen’s Association held their annual election of officers. The following have been elected for the 2024 calendar year and will begin their duties on January 1, 2024.
Mitch Flagg will serve as Fire Chief, assisted by Deputy Fire Chief Jake Bromage, and Assistant Fire Chiefs Tom Meier and Alex Ciaccia. To the rank of Captain, Doug McPherson, Tom Sercu and Cole Tresohlavy. To the Rank of Lieutenant, Ron White and Bill Hallinan.
The Board of Directors will be directed by President Adrian DeJesus, 1st Vice President Aaron Baker and 2nd Vice President Glenn Heininger. Directors newly elected are Matt Meyer, Lindsey Davis and Scott Magin.
We are very appreciative of the hard work and dedication shown by outgoing President Chris Damon who filled the position for the last three years but served many more years on the Board of Directors.
