Lora Partyka (right), owner of Partyka Farms and The Farmer’s Table, received the Town of Hamlin’s Extra Mile Award on December 27. Michelle Johnson (left) made the presentation. The award was presented to Lora Partyka in appreciation of and gratitude for her service to the Town of Hamlin. The plaque reads: “In recognition for her unwavering commitment, selfless dedication, and tireless efforts in making a difference in our community. Her passion for service has created a ripple effect of positive change, inspiring others to join in the pursuit of a stronger more vibrant community. Her dedication to Hamlin has been repeatedly proven through her devotion to help the community of Hamlin with donations to the Fire Departments, Ambulance Service, Senior Program, Lions Club and Town of Hamlin Recreation Department. She helps coordinate fundraisers to improve the Town of Hamlin and donates her services and time to support other programs in need throughout the Town.”
